It's already the middle of July and I feel like I've been in "teacher mode" since the last day of school. I'm use to summers traveling to tropical places, spending days surfing at the beach, and enjoying the warm summer sun! Today, I forced myself {how sad is that} to walk down to the beach and relax for a few hours. It was heaven I tell you, pure heaven. I'm the mayor of struggle street this summer when it comes to finding balance. During the school year, I always blamed lack of balance on teaching…but I think the lack of balance is ME. Yikes!!!
I think my friend Marcy over at Searching for Teacher Balance has it way more together than I do! She's holding a HUGE giveaway to celebrate one year of blogging {bless her} and I want to share it with you!

I agree, I can't seem to find the balance either!! At least when my kids are awake they don't really let me do too much work!!
