Are you feeling pressure by the teacher blogging community?

I love the teacher blogger community, but sometimes, I feel a lot of pressure to keep up.  This summer, I just want to relax, play at the beach, stay up late and sleep in until I feel like I'm ready to start the day.
Are you feeling pressure by all of the posts of teachers working over summer like I am?  Are you a blogger who wants a break? I posted about this topic over at the Primary Pack.  Join me in a challenge to find balance and live in the moment. I'm posting this photo on Instagram and will only be posting photos that aren't teaching related for the next week (or more)!

  1. Just read your post! Thanks for sharing! It's a fine line we walk as teachers and I have walked all over...from completely taking off my teacher's hat for the summer to NEVER taking it off and about everything in between. I agree with you...social media can be a blessing and a curse at the same time....that's why I unplug at times or like with my Monday Made It, I made it very clear that I am more than a teacher and so my posts will include other things that I am doing. The last month of school our county decided to change our school calendar and shorten our summer for 2 weeks:( So I am finding myself doing a little teacher but a lot more summer:) II know I need to do that so I'm not a stressed out mess when school starts...Now, if I can just survive Vegas...lol:) (I don't do crowds but that's a who other story..lol) Thanks for the reminders! Have a blessed week:)
