Five for Friday

This is my first time linking up with Doodle Bugs, and since I'm in a blogging roll tonight, why not keep it going.  But really, it's Friday night, shouldn't I be doing something a little more social?!?!

This week has been bananas, but in a good way.  We celebrated our 100th day of school on Monday and had an amazing time!  You can read more about it up on my blog.  Our most favorite activity was the aging photo booth app on my phone.  I used photo props and aged my kiddos.  The looks on their faces when they viewed their future selves was hilarious!
We also worked from my 100th day packet.

The kids things say crack me up on a daily basis.  I really think I should start writing all of it down and publishing a book one day.  I even have a section in my class' monthly news letter with the heading "Funny things out of the mouths of Students."
This was a funny one I got this week.
TMI little man :)
Have you entered the huge "Sweet Love" giveaway I'm hosting with 10 of my teacher friends?  I don't know about you, but I love the idea behind Valentine's Day.  Spreading love, lots of pink {hot pink is the absolute best}, and watching students pass out valentines is the sweetest thing.  Who doesn't want to feel some love?  My bloggy friends and I have teamed up to bring you another wonderful giveaway filled with lots of love...and pink!

My first graders have been working so hard this month learning about matter.

Find out what this is all about and grab a freebie!

I live in Orange County and my sweet man lives in San Diego.  So last weekend, we made the most of the gorgeous, sunny weather we've been getting and rode around Coronado Island with friends.

A busy week and next week will be even busier.  Transitioning to February centers, two SSTs back-to-back before the day starts on Monday, a district PLC meeting after school, and finishing up our hero unit with my second graders.  Until then, I plan on relaxing this weekend and cheering on the Broncos in the Super Bowl!
