Halloween High Frequency Activities

We know how important High Frequency (HFW), or Sight words are.  These are words the most common words students will come across.  Knowing these words automatically will give students time to focus on other decoding strategies and comprehension.  I don't know about you, but having students do the HFW activities from our reading series is less than engaging.
So...I created these fun activities.  Since I'm teaching a combo, I need my kiddos to be VERY independent and don't always have time to go over the directions of every worksheet that comes with our reading series.  Since they are already use to these, the Halloween activities will be easy-peasy for them to start on their own.

This packet comes with the first 300 words from the Fry's list

Students love this activity because they have to print their very best, something we are always working on!

What a better way to get rid of all my Real Simple magazines I don't have time to read...

My students love using magnets and cookie sheets, so this activity is another class fave!
